Executive Pay and the General Election

Even before the global financial crisis, Senior Executive Remuneration came into the spotlight with the Enron Scandal, and other examples of incentive plans that paid out even with mediocre performance.  There is, and will probably always be a lot of noise in the system about the earnings of business leaders, as it is a soft target for populist journalism and political point scoring.

Will the General Election change anything about the regulatory framework or tax status of Senior Executive Compensation? The recent Budget statement from the Chancellor of the Exchequer gives us clues about some things that will probably prevail, regardless of the outcome of the election.
