Geoff Dobson - A
PLC Board level Human Resources professional, Geoff Dobson has over
twenty years' experience in blue chip organisations acrossa diverse
range of industries. He has managed at every stage of the business
cycle, from start up and growth stages to mature international operations.
Geoff has had strategic responsibility for the HR
function and General Management oversight of an international business.
The majority of his senior roles have been within the biotechnology,
pharmaceutical, medical systems and medical devices sector. In addition
he has worked for one of the world's leading oil firms, and has
worked in manufacturing, industrial chemicals and gases, and in
logistics.
Geoff maintains a broad interest in all aspects of
HR and can offer a real depth of experience and expertise in recruitment
and selection, organisation development, change management, professional
development and compensation. He has substantial international experience,
particularly with 'transatlantic' life science company cultures.
He has also experienced the diversity of business cultures in Western
and Central Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle and Far East and Latin
America
Geoff has sharpened his commercial expertise with
an eighteen month assignment as the General Manager of the North
American operations of a UK PLC, so he is very aware of commercial
significance of the HR function.
Geoff is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute
of Personnel and Development. He has a Masters Degree in Organisation
Consulting, a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences, and is a qualified
psychometric tester.

Mary Hanley
- As a Chartered Psychologist, Dr. Mary Hanley
utilises her academic and consulting experience to direct the research
and development activities supporting Newgrange Consultants. Mary
holds a PhD in Psychology, an MSc in Occupational Psychology, a
Post Graduate Certificate in Evidence Based Healthcare, and is chartered
with the British Psychological Society.
In addition to her work with Newgrange Consultants,
Mary leads all Post Registration Education for Healthcare Professionals
at The University of Northampton School of Health. She works in
collaboration with a range of healthcare providers to meet the training
needs of their professional staff. Mary has been a consultant to
the Open University on occupational health psychology and stress
management. She is an external examiner and has been a guest lecturer
at several UK universities.
Examples of her industrial and commercial consulting
work include leading a project on behavioural indicators in recruitment
and selection for a regional energy provider, and consulting work
with an executive recruitment and selection company.
Mary has an extensive record in research and her work
has been published by the Open University and in professional journals.
Her professional interests include psychometrics at both testing
and evaluation levels, the design of healthful organisations, and
the goodness of fit between individuals and their career choices.

Allison
Vann has over fifteen years experience as a recruitment
and selection specialist, and has wider HR experience including
responsibilities for induction programmes, employment policies and
creation of organisation's 'Employment Brand'.
Alison has managed recruitment and selection
campaigns across a number of industry sectors, including IT, advertising
and communications, biotechnology, medical devices, marketing, paper
and packaging, retail and high technology businesses. Alison has
recruited at technical and professional, middle and senior management
level.
Whilst the majority of her experience
has been with recruitment service businesses, Alison has also worked
in-house with the HR functions of major organisations to run special
recruitment campaigns. Alison has deep experience of the advertised
selection sector, together with specialist expertise around innovations
in on-line recruitment and selection methods. Alison is also developing
her skills in psychometric assessment

Georgina
McKelvey has twenty years generalist HR experience,
working within blue chip, international companies involved in
information services, media, life and physical science service
industries.
She has worked on a diverse range of
activities including change management, organisational learning
and development, team building, leadership, recruitment selection
and assessment, HR operations and services. Georgina has led several
major performance improvement programmes including managing recruitment
programmes, competency profiling, performance improvement programmes,
organisation restructuring, redundancy and re-deployment exercises
and team-building workshop design and facilitation.
Georgina is a chartered member
of the CIPD with a degree in Business Management and is a qualified
psychometric tester.
